A Series of Fortunate Events

So I realize that it's been over a year since I posted anything. In truth life kind of ran away with me. So a brief recap:

I went to Pennsic right after London. For those of you who haven't a clue Pennsic is an event that is part of the SCA (The Society of Creative Anachronism) which focuses on recreating the time period between 600 AD and 1600 AD of Western Europe. I take part or "play" in this society learning the arts and sciences of the times. Pennsic is a 2 week long "war" where 10,000 people or more gather to play. I had a wonderful time and was invited to be on staff this year.

I lost my job at Nashoba Valley in January after some unseasonal weather which worked out just fine since I was offered the Technical Director job for the Oxford Street Players for Lesley University.

I found out on February 23rd that I was pregnant and I found out on February 24th that I was 33 weeks along. I had seven weeks to complete building, clothing and lighting a show and get ready for a baby. I also started a business in December in making garb which had to be put on hold for obvious reasons.

Last but not least I am saddened to say that many of my friends are on Live Journal and persuaded me to open an account there so I can keep up with them...I hate Live Journal. It's restrictive to display options and I don't like layouts and how the account management works. It's a pain in butt. So I'm back to Blogger, writing and enjoying my freedom of expression!
